Senior Storage Engineer (L3) – Backup & Recovery

We are seeking an experiencedSenior Storage Engineer (L3) – Backup & Recoveryto join our Infrastructure Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, administering, and optimizing enterprise backup and recovery solutions that support mission-critical business systems across hybrid environments. This role serves as the highest level of technical escalation for backup and storage-related issues, ensuring high availability, data integrity, disaster recovery readiness, and cyber resilience. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience withIBM Storage Protect (IBM Spectrum Protect/TSM), IBM Storage Defender Data Protect, Commvault, and Rubrik, along with a strong understanding of enterprise storage technologies, backup architecture, ransomware protection, business continuity, and disaster recovery planning. Responsibilities include managing enterprise backup operations, developing recovery strategies, optimizing backup performance, supporting virtual and physical infrastructure, collaborating with cross-functional infrastructure and security teams, automating backup processes where applicable, and maintaining technical documentation and operational procedures. The ideal candidate possesses strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, experience working in large-scale enterprise environments, and the ability to lead complex backup and recovery initiatives while ensuring compliance with organizational security and governance standards.
