Staff Accountant – Revenue Accounting

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Revenue Accounting team. This role will support the accurate recording of revenue, cost of goods sold (COGS), and customer payments, ensuring transactions are recorded in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.

Requirements

• Record and reconcile revenue and (COGS) transactions in the general ledger.
• Process and apply customer payments and investigate discrepancies or unapplied cash.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules related to revenue and COGS.
• Reconcile sub-ledgers to the general ledger and resolve variances.
• Support the month-end and quarter-end close process for revenue and related accounts.
• Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails for revenue-related transactions.
• Assist with audit requests and provide supporting documentation as needed.
• Develop and maintain Excel-based reports and reconciliations to support revenue operations.
