Summary of Position:

The RPA Support Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day support, maintenance, and optimization of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions built on UiPath and Microsoft Power Automate. This role is for production bot issues, performs root-cause analysis, implements fixes, and ensures RPA workflows operate reliably and efficiently. The ideal candidate will also bring experience with AI-powered intelligent automation platforms — specifically UiPath AI Center / Document Understanding and Microsoft AI Builder (AI IXP capabilities) to help the organization expand its intelligent automation footprint.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, triage, and resolve incidents for UiPath and Power Automate bots in production environments
  • Perform root-cause analysis on failures, exceptions, and performance degradation; document findings and corrective actions
  • Ensure all automated processes involving PHI/PII comply with HIPAA requirements; partner with compliance and security teams on audit logging and access controls
  • Support and maintain AI-enhanced automation workflows leveraging UiPath AI Center, Document Understanding, and Communications Mining
  • Maintain accurate support runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles for all supported automations
  • Perform other duties, as assigned, to ensure effective operation of the department and the Company
  • Live by and promote Verisma Core Values

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, required; Bachelor’s degree, preferred
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience supporting or developing RPA solutions using UiPath (Orchestrator, Studio, Attended/Unattended Robots)
  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Automate (cloud flows, desktop flows, connectors, and the CoE toolkit)
  • Solid understanding of RPA architecture concepts: bot lifecycle, exception handling, queues, assets, and credential management
  • Experience working within ITSM frameworks (ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or similar) for incident, problem, and change management
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language (PowerShell, Python, or VBScript) for supporting automation infrastructure
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to interpret logs, trace files, and Orchestrator/Power Platform diagnostic data
  • Ability to travel on a quarterly basis, subject to change
