About this role

VALD is seeking a Graphic Designer to join their Marketing team. The role involves creating high-quality visual assets that maintain and strengthen VALD's brand identity across all channels. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in graphic design, a minimum of 2 years of professional graphic design experience, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design (or similar)
  • Minimum 2 years of professional graphic design experience
  • High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience designing short- and long-form documents
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects
  • Web design experience and understanding of web best practices
  • Experience creating graphics and reusable templates for videography
  • Figma experience highly regarded
  • Strong eye for detail, formatting and visual hierarchy
  • Excellent ability to interpret, challenge and work from creative briefs
  • Confident presenting concepts clearly and justifying design decisions
  • Skilled at gathering, interpreting and implementing feedback from multiple stakeholders
  • Capable of managing several projects at once and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Motion graphics, 3D design and advertising or agency background highly regarded
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Exceptional storytelling and visual communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across a global team
  • Strong written and verbal communication — including clear EOD updates and smooth handovers
  • Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in polished, high-quality work
