Description
Nebius Academy is an international online learning platform that helps individuals and teams master AI and cloud technologies. We offer hands-on, industry-relevant training for both B2C and B2B audiences, combining technical expertise with real-world application to deliver impactful, scalable learning experiences.
We are looking for an LXD Lead to join our team. In this position, you will be leading a high-performing Learning Experience Design team, driving the design and continuous improvement of impactful learning products.
What you will do
- Hire, onboard, and lead a team of Learning Experience Designers and Editors, driving performance, goal setting, and professional development while fostering a high-performing and collaborative team culture.
- Define and enforce Learning Experience (LX) standards across all formats, ensuring consistency, quality, and strong learner outcomes.
- Oversee the design and launch of new learning programs, applying effective and innovative instructional approaches.
- Establish QA processes and evaluation frameworks to measure learning effectiveness, using learner feedback and performance data to drive continuous improvement.
- Lead the adoption of new learning technologies (including AI) and define the LX roadmap to improve engagement, retention, and knowledge application.
- Champion a learner-centric approach across the entire product lifecycle.
- Optimize team workflows and manage resource allocation across multiple projects, aligning with business priorities and timelines.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders on team capacity, planning, and delivery.
- Own key success metrics, including Student Satisfaction Score and Learning Effectiveness Metrics.
Requirements
- 5+ years in Learning Experience Design or Instructional Design in Edtech companies.
- Proven experience in leadership: managing LX designers, SMEs, editors, or curriculum teams.
- Strong grounding in learning science, learning experience design models, adult learning theory, assessment design.
- Experience designing across asyncronous and synchronous/live formats.
- Experience building a system of learning metrics and iterating learning programs based on data.
- Experience managing workflows, QA processes, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- English Proficiency (B2+)
Nice-to-have:
- Degree in Learning Sciences, Education or Instructional Design.
- Russian Fluency.
