I'm supporting a major data transformation initiative and looking for an experienced Analytics Engineer / Databricks Specialist who can help build the next generation of governed, AI‑enabled analytics.

If you enjoy shaping semantic layers, building SQL models, and enabling business teams with modern BI capabilities, this one is worth a look.

  • Location: Fully remote within Germany
  • Collaboration: Close alignment with teams in the USA

 What You'll Be Working On

  • Developing robust SQL‑based data models on Databricks for analytics, reporting, and self‑service BI
  • Owning Unity Catalog setup and governance (lineage, access control, discoverability)
  • Creating AI/BI dashboards and enabling conversational analytics using Databricks Genie
  • Implementing NL2SQL so business users can query data in natural language
  • Designing a scalable semantic layer to ensure consistent metrics across the organisation
