Clinical Coder

We are seeking a Clinical Coder to join our team at St Vincent's Health Australia. The successful applicant will be responsible for assigning accurate and timely clinical codes to patient episodes of care, and will have a background in health information management or clinical coding.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Applied Science (Health Information Management) or equivalent, or Clinical Coding qualifications from HIMAA or equivalent.
• At least two years clinical coding experience.
• Previous experience with 3M Codefinder software.
• Experience in clinical coding across a range of DRGs with demonstrated high quality coding skills.
• Up to date knowledge of Clinical Coding guidelines and Australian Coding Standards.
