Senior Software Engineer, Windows/Desktop Applications - Beijing, China

Speechify is a company that provides text-to-speech products to help users read faster, read more, and remember more. The company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design, architecture, and development of native Windows desktop applications using Windows App SDK, WinUI, and C#.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Windows desktop application development using Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, XAML, and native Windows code
• Deep understanding of Windows application architecture and interop between managed code and native code
• Proven track record of designing, building, and shipping production-quality desktop applications
• Strong experience with accessibility APIs on Windows and dedication to building accessible and inclusive software
• Excellent software engineering fundamentals, including OOP, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and memory management
• Experience leading technical design, mentoring other engineers, and making architecture-level decisions
• Strong communication skills and ability to articulate tradeoffs and collaborate with cross-functional teams
