Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in manual and automated testing, a strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), and the ability to identify and resolve defects efficiently. This is a fully remote role, but applicants must be based in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality.
• Perform manual and automated testing to identify bugs and usability issues.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and create test strategies.
• Track, document, and report bugs using tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Bugzilla.
• Conduct regression, functional, integration, and performance testing.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices.
• Work with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Provide feedback to improve the overall user experience and software functionality.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in software testing and QA processes.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of testing tools and bug-tracking systems.
• Experience with SQL for database testing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills to report findings effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Docker).
• ISTQB or other QA certification.
• Knowledge of security and performance testing.
