About this role
The Engineering Lead is responsible for portfolio health and data, managing scope, financial forecasts, and stakeholder change and communication plans. They will lead a high-performing natural team, establish governance structures, and optimize resource allocation.
Requirements
- Degree in Software Engineering or demonstrated capability
- 10+ years in IT with 5+ years of IT Project Management experience
- Ability to support portfolio demand scoping, estimation, and delivery methodology selection
- Ability to lead delivery of the program's objectives, benefits, and desired outcomes against the plan
- Ability to manage program budgets, ensuring financial resources are allocated effectively, and projects remain within budget constraints.
- Ability to identify and assess risks related to the program and develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans
- Ability to implement quality control processes to maintain high standards in project deliverables and outcomes
- Ability to regularly report on program progress, milestones, and key performance indicators
- Experience in Waterfall and Agile project delivery or product experience
- Demonstrated servant leadership behaviors, including empowerment and increasing transparency that enables team self-organization
- Demonstrated learning agility in ambiguous and unfamiliar situations
- Familiarity with and ability to adhere to project management methodologies and tools
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience coaching stakeholders
- Experience leading a distributed team
- Ability to manage highly complex projects, including responsibility for both the largest investments and the smallest changes for the business
