Job Description:

We are seekingan experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The idealcandidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, particularly inhandling Australian clients, and will be proficient in using XERO. You will beresponsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing payroll,managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring all financial transactionsare properly recorded.

Our client runsa full service residential and commercial renovation business.

KeyResponsibilities:
  • Manage and process payroll, invoicing, andbank/financial transactions.
  • Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable(AR).
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial records.
  • Prepare financial reports and summaries as required.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance withfinancial regulations and standards.
  • Assist with Australian tax preparations (a plus).

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of bookkeeping experience.
  • Experience working for or with Australian clients.
  • Strong understanding of payroll, invoicing, AP, AR,and bank transactions.
  • Proficiency in XERO is a MUST
  • Knowledge of Australian tax laws is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellentorganizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
