Mechanical Design Engineer

Leading Japanese Semiconductor production equipment vendor

Responsibilities:

• Support for the development of semiconductor production equipment
• Bridge between customer's development staff and offshore development team
• Review of design/functional specifications to ensure coverage of requirement
• Lead progress meetings with offshore teams and customers, prioritize remaining tasks, etc.

Requirements:

• At least 8 years of experience in equipment design/development
• Experience working on 2D/3D CAD tools
• Understand the customer's design requirements

Good to Have:

• Experience in mechanical design of semiconductor production equipment, LCD panel production
• equipment, and medical equipment
• Solid Edge/Solid works experience
• Experience with Teamcenter

Language Skill:

• English Intermediate (Preferred to have TOEIC Level 600-700)
• Japanese Native OR JLPT N2 or above
