Senior Manager, Benefits

Rackspace Technology is seeking an experienced and strategicSenior Manager, GlobalBenefitsto lead the design, administration, governance, and continuous improvement of our global benefits programs across 22 countries. This roleis responsible forensuring that Rackspace offers competitive, compliant, and cost-effective benefits that support employee wellbeing, attract top talent, and align with the company's global people strategy.

The ideal candidate will bring deepexpertisein multinational benefits management, with a demonstratedtrack recordof designing and administering benefits programs across diverse geographic regions.The majority ofRackspace employeesare located inthe United States, India, and the United Kingdom, making experience in these markets particularly important.

This is a fully remote leadership position that manages a team of twoSeniorBenefits Analysts and partners closely with HR, Finance, Payroll, Legal, Procurement, and external benefit providers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Global Benefits Strategy & Design

• Develop and execute a comprehensive global benefits strategy aligned with Rackspace's businessobjectivesand talent priorities.

• Evaluate, design, and enhance employee benefit programs across 22 countries, including health and welfare, retirement, wellbeing, leave programs, and other employee benefits.

• Conduct market benchmarking and competitive analyses to ensure programsremainattractive and cost-effective.

• Recommend innovative solutions that enhancethe employeeexperience while balancing financial stewardship.

Benefits Administration & Operations

• Oversee the day-to-day administration of global benefits programs and vendor relationships.

• Ensureaccurateenrollment, eligibility, compliance, communications, andissueresolution across all countries.

• Establish andmaintaineffective controls, policies, and procedures to support operational excellence.

• Partner with Payroll and HR Operations to ensure seamless administration and employee support.

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure compliance with applicablebenefitsregulations, tax requirements, and employment laws across alljurisdictions.

• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and proactively implement required changes.

• Manage audits, reporting requirements, and governance processes related tobenefitsprograms.

Vendor & Financial Management

• Lead relationships with brokers, consultants, insurers, and third-party administrators globally.

• Support annual renewals, contract negotiations, and vendor performance management.

• Develop and managebenefitsbudgets, forecasting, and cost-containment initiatives.

• Utilize data and analytics to evaluate program effectiveness andidentifyopportunities for improvement.

Leadership & Stakeholder Partnership

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of two Benefits Analysts.

• Build strong partnerships with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Legal, and executive stakeholders.

• Provide subject matterexpertiseand strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

• Drive effective employee communications and benefits education initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, ora relatedfield.

• 8+ years of progressive benefits experience, including significant responsibility for global benefits programs.

• Proventrack recordmanagingbenefitsdesign and administration across multiple countries and regions.

• Demonstrated experience supporting large employee populations in theUnited States, India, and the United Kingdom.

• Strong knowledge of global benefits practices, compliance requirements, and vendor management.

• Experience leading benefits teams and developing talent.

• Excellent analytical, financial, project management, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communicationand stakeholder management abilities, with experience influencing senior leaders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a global technology or services organization.

• CEBS, CBP, SHRM, or other relevant professionalcertification.

• Experience leading benefits-related technology implementations and process improvements.

• Familiarity with mergers, acquisitions, and global workforce integration activities.

- Candidates who live near our headquarters in San Antonio, TX, work a hybrid schedule with two days in the office.
