About this role

Our client is seeking an experienced .NET and Azure Technical Lead to design and build secure, scalable cloud applications.

The role requires strong hands-on experience in .NET, C#, Azure architecture, and Azure Kubernetes Service, with DevOps experience considered an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop cloud-native applications using C# and .NET.
  • Define scalable architecture using microservices, event-driven systems, or modular monoliths.
  • Build APIs, background services, and event-driven workflows.
  • Design secure Azure environments using AKS, App Services, Storage, Key Vault, and Entra ID.
  • Build and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
  • Improve application performance, reliability, security, monitoring, and cost efficiency.
  • Lead code reviews and establish engineering and testing standards.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level developers and promote strong engineering practices.

Required Experience

  • At least five years of professional .NET development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core or .NET 6+, and ASP.NET Core.
  • Strong hands-on Azure cloud architecture experience.
  • Practical experience with Azure Kubernetes Service.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and YAML-based CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience developing APIs and distributed or event-driven systems.
  • Strong SQL Server experience.
  • Experience leading code reviews and mentoring developers.

Desirable Experience

  • DevOps and Infrastructure as Code.
  • MongoDB.
  • Blazor WebAssembly and SignalR.
  • Application Insights and Log Analytics.
  • Automated testing and advanced deployment strategies.
