Senior Bookkeeper

The Mission

We are seeking a seasoned Web3 Bookkeeper to take full ownership of our digital and fiat treasury operations. This is not a "learn-as-you-go" role. We need an expert who has navigated multiple market cycles, understands the complexities of on-chain accounting, and can manage high-volume transaction data with zero supervision. You will be responsible for the integrity of our financial data across all decentralized and centralized platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Full-Cycle Web3 Accounting: Manage the end-to-end bookkeeping process for all on-chain and off-chain activities, ensuring 100% accuracy in real-time.

• Complex Reconciliation: Resolve and reconcile high-volume transactions, including DeFi interactions, NFT mints/trades, liquidity provisioning, and cross-chain bridging.

• Cost-Basis Management: Meticulously track cost-basis and realized/unrealized gains and losses across a diverse portfolio of digital assets.

• Internal Control Oversight: Manage and secure company multi-sig wallets (e.g., Safe) and implement robust internal controls to prevent errors or unauthorized movements.

• Financial Reporting: Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements that consolidate digital assets and fiat, providing a clear picture of company health.

• Compliance & Audit Readiness: Maintain a "permanent audit" state, ensuring all transactions are documented with the necessary metadata for global tax and regulatory standards.

The Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

• Proven Web3 Experience: Minimum 2+ years of direct experience in Web3/Crypto bookkeeping. You must be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of block explorers (Etherscan, Solscan, etc.).

• Accounting Expertise: Solid foundation in traditional accounting (CPA preferred but not required) with a mastery of double-entry bookkeeping and financial reporting.

• Advanced Tooling Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Web3-native accounting software (e.g., Cryptio, Bitwave, SoftLedger, or Gilded) and traditional platforms like QuickBooks or Xero.

• Technical Fluency: Deep knowledge of DeFi protocols, smart contract interactions, and the mechanics of different blockchain networks (L1s and L2s).

• Self-Sufficiency: You are an operator who does not need training. You identify discrepancies before they become problems and implement your own workflows for maximum efficiency.

• Elite Precision: High-stakes attention to detail; you understand that in the digital economy, a single decimal error can have massive consequences.

Operational Details

• Location: Fully Remote.

• Schedule: Full-time.

• Note: Experience with Solana/Ethereum is highly preferred.
