OpenLoop is seeking experiencedNurse Practitioners with a background in neurology or chronic painto join our specialized concussion care telemedicine program. About the RoleWhat You’ll Do
In this fully remote position, you’ll provide comprehensive telemedicine care to patients experiencingconcussions and related neurocognitive conditions. Working collaboratively with a supervising physician, you’ll assess, diagnose, and manage patients through individualized treatment plans — all while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. This role allows you to support patients dealing with conditions such asconcussions, migraines, vertigo, tinnitus, long COVID, and more, while maintaining a flexible weekday schedule.
What You’ll Do- Conduct HIPAA-compliant telehealth consultations
- Review patient health histories and relevant clinical data
- Develop personalized treatment plans for neurocognitive and chronic pain conditions
- Perform follow-up visits to evaluate progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Provide clear patient education and clinical guidance
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the medical record
- Serve as a consulting clinician focused on driving positive patient outcomes
- Collaborate closely with a supervising physician in accordance with state and practice guidelines
- Demonstrate empathy, active listening, and patient advocacy in every interaction
- Utilize telehealth technology confidently and assist patients with basic troubleshooting when needed
Requirements
- Current national NP certification (ANCC, AANP, or equivalent)
- Must have active state licenses in Maryland & New York, and Pennsylvania would be a plus (required)
- 1–3 years of experienceinneurology, chronic pain management, psychiatry, or ENT
- Strong clinical judgment and commitment to evidence-based practice
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of comfort with telehealth technology
- Professional, reliable, and patient-focused approach to care
