Traveling Solar Pile Driver Mechanic

The Traveling Solar Pile Driver Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing pile driving equipment used in solar construction projects across multiple job sites.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working on heavy equipment, preferably pile drivers or similar machinery
• Hands-on experience with Vermeer and/or Gayk equipment
• Strong understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems
• Experience with Trimble GPS or similar machine control systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostics
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively (50–90%)
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
