About this role
This is a remote position.
We are looking for an experienced SAP WM Consultant to join an international IT services leader specializing in the design, management, and modernization of complex enterprise systems. The company operates in over 60 countries and supports thousands of enterprise clients worldwide, delivering innovative and mission-critical technology solutions.
As part of this global organization, you will participate in long-term international projects for a large enterprise environment, ensuring stability, optimization, and continuous development of SAP Warehouse Management solutions.
The role offers mainly remote work, with occasional international business trips, providing exposure to global processes and complex supply chain operations.
Responsibilities:
- Providing functional support for SAP WM users.
- Handling incidents and service requests using ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
- Investigating, analyzing, and resolving SAP WM-related issues.
- Participating in SAP WM implementations, rollouts, and upgrades.
- Configuring and optimizing warehouse processes including: inbound and outbound logistics, inventory management, warehouse movements and storage strategies
- Collaborating with other SAP teams (MM, SD, PP) to ensure seamless system integration.
- Preparing and maintaining system and process documentation.
- Supporting testing activities and user training sessions.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience as an SAP Consultant specializing in SAP WM.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- SAP Warehouse Management configuration
- Warehouse business processes and best practices
- Experience working with ticketing systems (preferably Jira or ServiceNow).
- Perfect command of the English language (spoken and written).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in complex international environments.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA WM or EWM.
- German language proficiency (spoken and written).
- Basic ABAP debugging skills.
- Experience with large-scale global SAP rollouts.
- Knowledge of integration with SAP MM, SD, and PP modules.
