About this role
The Proposal Specialist will collaborate with members of J&J Worldwide Services (JJWWS), a CBRE Government and Defense business, Leadership Team, Business Development (BD)/Capture/Proposal Team, Operations, and other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) as needed to ensure proposals are accurate and contain all requested information as outlined by the solicitation, such as Request for X (RFx), Evaluation Notices (ENs), Sources Sought (SS), and other Government-released artifacts. This is a writing and reviewing intensive role with emphasis on technical, management, and past performance/corporate experience volumes; resumes, and various plans. This position reports to the Director of Proposal Operations.

- Assist in managing end-to-end proposal development from RFx release to submission, ensuring compliance with solicitation and FAR requirements.
- Write and edit key sections (Technical, Management, Past Performance, Resumes, and Plans), develop templates, and coordinate with BD, SMEs, partners, and subcontractors.
- Participate in strategy sessions, kick-offs, and color team reviews (Pink, Red, Gold, White), providing compliance and content review.
- Support solutioning, win themes, and graphics development while maintaining document control, incorporating amendments, and contributing to process improvements, knowledge management, and final production.
- Experience to write and respond to federal solicitations and acquisition documents.
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, key strategies, and concepts
- Operations & Maintenance (O&M), Base Operations Support (BOS) Services, and Environmental/Custodial Services writing experience is a plus
