Snowflake Data Architect

As a Snowflake Data Architect, you will work at the intersection of data, technology, and business, helping our clients design and scale modern data platforms that turn complexity into clarity and insights into impact.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, including at least 3 years architecting Snowflake solutions at scale
• Strong expertise in SQL and performance tuning for large analytical workloads
• Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture (storage, virtual warehouses, query optimisation, data sharing)
• Proven experience with data modelling (3NF, star/snowflake schemas, analytical data marts)
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT and orchestration tools (e.g. dbt, Airflow, Dataiku, Talend)
• Fluency in Python or similar scripting languages for automation and transformation tasks
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices in data environments (CI/CD, version control, IaC)
• Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance in cloud environments
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with both technical and business stakeholders
• Fluency in English
• Must be Europe-based and able to work as a contractor
