About this role

Key Responsibilities:

Edit high-quality short-form content including Reels and TikToks.
Strong proficiency in CapCut (mobile and/or desktop) with ability to execute advanced transitions, effects and templates.
Ability to follow creative briefs accurately, ensuring brand tone, pace, and visual identity are reflected in all edits.
Experience with editing raw content
Understanding of platform-specific best practice, including:

o Optimal video length o Hook and pacing strategy

o Text placement and safe zones

o Trending audio, formatting and styles

Ability to organise, name and manage video files for efficient workflow.
Strong sense of storytelling, rhythm and pacing tailored for social media.
Ability to quickly turn around edits under tight deadlines without compromising quality.
Comfortable working with feedback and making revisions.
Knowledge of basic colour correction, audio clean-up and captioning for accessibility.
Optional but valuable: Familiarity with UGC editing styles, meme-style edits, voice over timing, and repurposing content across multiple platforms.

What We’re Looking For:

2 – 3 years’ experience in Social Media Management across Facebook and Instagram.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to follow a detailed brief.
Excellent skills in Photoshop, Publisher, In Design, iMovie, other video editing software
Excellent skills in Canva, scheduling platforms (experience with Sprout / Business Manager is ideal) and CapCut
