Travel Agent

This is a remote position.

We are seeking an experienced Travel Agent with in-depth knowledge of GDS systems to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo, and Travelport, along with a passion for delivering outstanding travel solutions. You will be responsible for assisting clients with travel arrangements, including flight bookings, hotel reservations, and related services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle Travel Bookings: Book flights, hotels, and other travel arrangements using GDS systems, including Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo, and Travelport.
• Provide Excellent Customer Service: Assist clients with inquiries, changes, and special travel requests to ensure a seamless experience.
• Stay Updated with Travel Policies: Keep up-to-date with airline policies, travel restrictions, and fare rules to provide accurate information to clients.
• Offer Customized Travel Solutions: Understand clients' travel needs and preferences to offer personalized recommendations and services.
• Manage Reservations: Make amendments and cancellations as needed while maintaining accurate records.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Travel Agent with strong knowledge of Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo, and Travelport.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of travel industry trends, airline fare rules, and reservation policies.
• Familiarity with booking flights, hotels, car rentals, and other travel services.
