Technical Advisor (Patent Litigation – Software/Technology)

Direct Counsel is seeking a highly skilled Technical Advisor to support a sophisticated intellectual property litigation team in patent litigation involving software, algorithms, and digital content.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
• Prior experience supporting patent, trade secret, or copyright litigation
• Strong background in software, algorithms, and/or digital technologies
• Experience conducting prior art searches and technical analysis for patent invalidity
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to legal teams
