Job Summary:

Coordinates and oversees accounting and finance functions including account analysis, reconciliation and related analytics and financial reporting in accordance with i) Generally Accepted Accounting Principles; (ii) regulatory or programs requirements and; (iii) financial reporting to meet both internal and external needs. Responsible for facilitating related financial audits for assigned areas and providing advisory services, analysis and presentation material as requested. Supports regulatory reporting, including third-party cost reports, Form 990 and processing of escheat, sales, excise and use tax.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for coordination and oversight of assigned system-wide accounting and financial analysis functions
  • Supports management and staffin daily accounting or financial reportingduties.
  • Ensures that all work is performed in an auditablefashion.
  • Reviews, refines, and automates department procedures to improve workflowefficiency.
  • Establishesrelationships with financial and operational teams tocreateefficient and effectiveprocesses.
  • Responsible for maintaining appropriate documentation and for adherence to related controls and policies.
  • Responsible for understanding related subsidiary systems and ledgers and reporting systems.
  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of relationships across CommunityCarenecessary to ensure the completeness and accuracy of CommunityCare’s financial reports.Actively seeks input and works to improve department finance operations.
