Role Summary

The Fitness Consultant – Lifepro provides expert fitness guidance, product use support, and personalized recommendations to customers, ensuring they can use Lifepro products effectively and safely to meet their health and wellness goals. This role combines product expertise with fitness industry knowledge to deliver exceptional customer experiences, assist in content development, and collaborate with internal teams to enhance service offerings.

What You’ll Do

Customer Guidance

  • Provide one-on-one fitness consultations to customers via phone, video, or email
  • Answer product usage questions, offering tips for effective and safe exercise routines
  • Recommend product features, settings, and accessories based on customer goals and physical needs

Product Expertise

  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of all Lifepro fitness products, features, and proper use
  • Assist in creating product usage guides, exercise tutorials, and troubleshooting resources
  • Provide feedback to Product Development on potential improvements based on customer experiences

Collaboration

  • Partner with the Customer Service team to resolve complex product inquiries requiring fitness expertise
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop fitness-focused content for social media, newsletters, or promotional campaigns
  • Work with Product Development to test new fitness products and provide functional feedback

Education & Training

  • Conduct internal training sessions for the customer service team on fitness concepts and product usage
  • Participate in webinars, videos, or live demonstrations for customers and brand partners

Continuous Improvement

  • Track and analyze common customer fitness inquiries to identify trends
  • Recommend enhancements to product instructions and support materials
  • Stay updated on fitness industry trends, research, and best practices to inform recommendations

  • You have in-depth knowledge of fitness, exercise science, and wellness best practices
  • You can translate complex fitness and product information into easy-to-understand guidance for customers
  • You are skilled in active listening and tailoring recommendations to individual customer needs
  • You are passionate about helping people achieve their fitness goals while ensuring proper and safe product usage
  • You work well independently and as part of a cross-functional team

Success Metrics

  • Maintain >95% customer satisfaction rating for fitness consultations
  • Deliver 100% accurate and brand-compliant fitness guidance
  • Conduct at least 2 training sessions per quarter for the CS team
  • Contribute to the creation or improvement of at least 4 customer-facing fitness resources annually
  • Reduce repeat fitness-related inquiries by 15% within 6 months through improved education and resources

Cross-Functional Relationships

  • Customer Service – Lifepro: Support with advanced product usage and fitness advice
  • Product Development: Provide functional testing and user experience feedback for new products
  • Marketing: Collaborate on fitness-related educational and promotional content
  • Operations & Logistics: Ensure customers receive the correct products or accessories for their needs

Accountability & Rhythm

Daily

  • Respond to fitness-related customer inquiries from CS escalations
  • Conduct scheduled fitness consultations
  • Document guidance provided and note any product or feature feedback

Weekly

  • Coordinate with CS team leads on trending fitness-related questions
  • Collaborate with Product Development on testing or review of fitness products
  • Provide marketing content support as needed

Monthly

  • Host or participate in customer-facing webinars or demonstrations
  • Review and update product usage and exercise resources
  • Deliver internal training on fitness/product integration

Quarterly

  • Review and analyze fitness-related inquiries for improvement opportunities
  • Propose product or process enhancements to improve the customer fitness experience
